April 2025, Deer Jet's Sanya and Haikou FBOs were officially awarded the Stage III certification of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC), becoming the first FBOs in mainland China to receive this stage of certification.
The International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling, developed jointly by IBAC and the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) of the United States, is based on earlier international standards for business aviation operations. It covers safety management systems for all aspects of FBO operations and is currently the most authoritative and stringent global industry standard for ground support units in the business aviation sector. Through the implementation and execution of the Safety Management System (SMS), it demonstrates an operator's ability to effectively control safety risks in daily operations and potential hazards in ground handling.
Deer Jet was the first in mainland China to introduce this certification. Its Sanya and Haikou FBOs passed the first-stage audit in 2017, becoming the first FBOs in mainland China to receive this certification. They successfully passed the second-stage audit in 2019. In 2023, IBAC awarded the Sanya and Haikou FBOs a five-year certification, making them the first FBOs in mainland China to receive this certificate.
As a pioneer and leader in China's business aviation industry, Deer Jet has achieved a strategic layout covering the entire business aircraft industry chain through the continuous integration of global high-quality resources. Its current business scope includes business aircraft charter, management, ground handling, maintenance and training, and asset trading. Deer Jet's operations in Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong collectively manage over 50 business aircraft, including mainstream models such as Dassault Falcon, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Boeing BBJ, and Airbus ACJ, making its fleet the largest in the Asia-Pacific region.
As early as 2008, Deer Jet began building and operating FBOs at major hub airports in China. To date, it has established China's largest FBO network, covering Haikou, Sanya, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Changsha, Nanning, and Guilin, providing high-quality and efficient service experiences for domestic and international business aircraft clients and crews.
