The voice of Karen Mok tells a musical story of Hong Kong: Amongst the mountains and waters, the clouds and waves are right in front of your eyes. The song, the people and the city, and both Shenzhen and Hong Kong – two neighboring cities – all appear with a slight sense of splendor of their gentleness.
Not too long ago, Deer Jet showed up in Shenzhen for a wonderful encounter about destiny in this city surrounded by mountains and waters.
The seemingly simple designed building in the picture above is a work of American architect Richard Meier, who is a symbolic figure of modern white architectures. It’s simple yet not easy, Meier is good at using natural elements and even able to calculate the exact time when the sunlight will be projected into the building. The library of Yale University and one of the World Trade Center designs are some of his representative works.
